The Champaign County Preservation Alliance thanks everyone who made this year's 27th Historic Home and Garden Tour another success. Champaign County is fortunate to have citizens and businesses willing to support non-profit organizations in the county.
Each year, these tours would not be possible without homeowners graciously having their homes and gardens on the tour, and local churches, museums, and other venues opening their doors both days of the tour.
Thank you to Ethel's Flower Shop for donating a beautiful, unique floral arrangement for each home on the tour. Thank you to SVG Motors and White's Auto Group for providing SUVs for the free shuttle service offered during the tour. Thank you to the crafters for setting up their wares and the musicians for providing entertainment at several tour homes.
In addition to contributions from the benefactors, sponsors, and others listed below, we could not have succeeded without our 250+ volunteers that covered the homes and garden and drove the shuttle vehicles during the tour. These volunteers collectively donated approximately 800 volunteer hours during the two-day tour. The Historic Home and Garden Tour Committee relies on many of the same volunteers and we are fortunate they readily volunteer to help with the tours year after year.
